Critique from the German Sieger Show
Over medium size, strong, substantial, dry and firm. Very good body proportions, in particular the height to length proportions are excellent. Noell has a strong and masculine head with very good expression. The very good top line is formed from a high, well situated wither and a long straight back. The long croup is sloping. He is very well angulated in the fore and hind quarters. With regard to depth and length, his powerful brisket area is very well developed. In addition the shoulder blade and also the upper arm are in correct relationship to each other. The movement coming and going is sound with a clean front and very good set-in elbows and firm hocks. Noell demonstrates harmonious movement with free front reach and very effective hind thrust. His optimum construction of the forehand and his even movement in every required aspect is faultless and his well maintained balance cannot be criticized.
Paperwork needed before breeding
• Copy of registration certificate & pedigree
• Copy of hip certification
• Copies of all lab tests required, provided by your veterinarian (see below).

First day of season (or as soon as
possible) Cervical culture and sensitivity.
This sample must be obtained using a guarded culture swab and taken from the cervical area, not lower vaginal area. It takes 4 to 7 days to get final results. Your female will not be bred naturally without a C & S, and results must be negative or she must be on appropriate antibiotics for 7 days prior to breeding. If your female has a highly resistant or pathogenic bacteria she will not be bred naturally even if she is on the appropriate antibiotics for 7 days. She will have to be artificially inseminated.
Canine Brucellosis screening is required. Your female will not be bred with a positive Brucella result.
Progesterone timing is required for all females to be bred, It will ensure that your female is having a normal heat cycle and has ovulated. A progesterone series tells us precisely when to breed or inseminate her.
The timing tests must be done with your veterinarian to ensure that you are traveling with a fertile female.
Progesterone Timing Chart (Start testing on day 5 to 7 of season).
Below 1.0 ng/ml--no ovarian activity—test every 3 or 4 days
1.0 to 2.0 ng/ml—rise indicates active ovary—test in 2 to 3 days
2.0 to 4.9 ng/ml—active ovary-test every 24 hours until you determine
5.0 ng/ml Ovulation
5 to 6 ng/ml—breed in 2 to 3 days
6 to 11 ng/ml—breed in 1 to 2 days
11 to 19 ng/ml – breed today
Over 19 Breed immediately if vaginal smear is clear and your female is still receptive, this is considered late in her season, hope for the best.
All breeding’s will be “Assisted Breeding’s”
We have made arrangements to use the services of
Brittmoore Animal Hospital in Houston for all breeding’s to Noell.
http://www.brittmooreanimalhospital.com/
These arrangements have been made to ensure a safe and professionally supervised environment for Noell and your female.
Noell will be taken to Brittmoore Animal Hospital at the pre-determined day and time to facilitate the breeding.
Noell’s stud fee is $1,200.00 (payable in advance of the breeding).
This fee includes the veterinary charges for the assisted breeding and also includes (1) artificial insemination if a natural cover is not possible.
A second breeding will be provided the following day if needed at no additional cost.
Fresh-Chilled (or Frozen) semen is also an option.
$1,200.00 plus the cost of shipping (payable in advance of collection and shipping).
